Presenting the STEELHEAD lockback automatic side opener, featuring a 9″ AOL and a 4 1/8″ long blade. Crafted with precision, it boasts a 440c hollow ground Bowie style blade with polished grinds and satin finished flats. Enhanced with 416ss bolsters and phat Sambar stag scales, this model marks my return to crafting after over 20 years, spurred by a client’s request. Versatile and reliable, it’s an ideal carry option, complete with a leather belt sheath. Engineered for smooth opening with torque and zero blade play upon locking. Customizable with or without swing guards and available in 8″, 9″, and 10″ sizes. This unique model features a Bowie grind for the first time, denoted as “proto,” with additional grind options also available upon request.
